Local Businesses are Welcome to Participate
The first Monrovia Works Program started about this time last year, the goal of Monrovia Works is to reach our students at an early age and give them some knowledge of local businesses, the cool and interesting positions available locally and the level of education the students will need to fill these positions. Additionally, students will hear directly from local business people on interesting segments of their career, how they decided on their career choice, what education is needed to acquire the position, the salary range and other perks/benefits involved in their career choice. The goal is to capture the interest of our students early and get them actively thinking and working toward their future career and college readiness.
